EU creates platform for HE systems

7 december 2011 | The European Union created a new platform explaining the different higher education systems all over Europe.

Higher education systems all over Europe differ significantly.While the Netherlands, Germany and Austria follow binary systemswith universities and universities of applied sciences(Hogescholen, Fachhochschulen), the rest of Europe knows grandesécoles, institutes of technology, public universities and privatesones.
Eurydice, the European Union’s information system on education,now created Eurypedia. This new platform provides key informationon 38 different higher education systems in 33 Europeancountries.
