CHE maakt bekend dat de volgende 10 universiteiten uit ons land
zijn vergeleken met collega-instellingen aan de hand van de
doorwrochte criteria en werkwijze die het instituut in de loop van
de jaren heeft ontwikkeld. Het betreft de Universiteit van
Amsterdam, Technische Universiteit Delft, Technische Universiteit
Eindhoven, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Universiteit Leiden,
Universiteit Maastricht, Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen,
Universiteit Utrecht, Universiteit van Tilburg en Universiteit
Twente. Daarbij zijn dit jaar de nieuwste data bijengebracht voor
de vlgende disciplines: 'business administration, economics,
political science, sociology/social sciences, media studies and
industrial engineering'.
"[They] are being compared with the higher education
institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the subject
level. Each year the Centre for Higher Education (CHE) updates the
data for a third of the subjects. The Universiteit Maastricht
achieved some excellent results, reaching top positions in business
administration, political science and economics."
De internationale oriëntatie van de studies in ons land wordt
bij een reeks van intellingen nadrukkelijk positief
beoordeeld. "The Universiteit van Amsterdam appears in the top
group for international orientation in business administration. The
TU Delft and the TU Eindhoven achieved top positions in industrial
engineering. Rijksuniversiteit Groningen placed in the top group
for international orientation in the subject of business
administration. Media studies at Universiteit Leiden is also
performing well in terms of international orientation."
In de gamma hoek zijn ook gunstige resultaten te melen.
"Nijmegen achieved several top positions in political science and
sociology/social sciences. For some indicators, Universiteit van
Tilburg features in the top groups for media and communicational
studies, business administration and economics whilst Universiteit
Twente has several top group positions in communicational studies,
business administration, political sciences and sociology/social
sciences."
CHE heeft ook dit jaar weer een uitputtende analyse weten te
produceren van ht Ho in een reeks landen in de EU. "Over 2500
departments from more than 300 higher education institutions in
Germany and its neighbouring countries were surveyed. Each year the
Centre for Higher Education updates the data for a third of
all university subjects."
