25 juni 2012 | Een topprestatie van China in de ruimte laat zien met hoeveel elan dit land zich ontwikkelt. De drie astronauten hebben hun sonde gekoppeld aan het nieuwe 'ruimtestation in aanbouw', Hemels Paleis-1. ScienceGuide sprak met de ontwerper hiervan, Yang Hong.

“My ultimate dream is to let manned space flight benefit allhumanity. Not just our Chinese people, but all citizens in theworld. I think that flying to Mars is just one step. In fact, weshould think much beyond that,” zei hij in gesprek met ScienceGuideop het symposium van de Delftse studenten lucht- enruimtevaart.

“My team and I came to the ‘Citizen of Space’ symposium to findout more about what is going on with the European space industry.There is a lot of new and creative concepts being built right here.I believe that for the Chinese and European space industry thereare great opportunities in working together. The technicaluniversity here in Delft is a great platform to get in touch withambitious students and stakeholders.”
